Hi,
this is the Conquest Fact Sheet for the 2010 Event.
http://www.live-adventure.de/ConQuest/d ... F_2010.pdfYes, it is in German Language. But the most of it is probably not of interest for you - it just points out how checkin functions, states the rules again (which you can grab and download and print out yourself here: and ) and gives some graphics that can be understood even if you dont speak German.
Like Page 4, this shows the ways how to drive with your car. Everything is made a One-Way Street, we have "Drive-thru checkin" between P2 and P3. then you can drive on to the Event Ground and unload your car. In case of navigation problems to your camp, ask someone at the crossings, you will be guided then.
Some fact points of importance:
1) Dont forget to bring your own toilet paper! Unfortunately, we cannot deliver that for the Port-a-Potties because it tends to get vandalized or stolen (the toilet paper, that is).
2) You can buy Wood for your campfire in the tent town. A merchant sells it by cubic metre (1 cubic metre = 65 EUR).
3) On Tuesday and Wednesday you can buy compressed Hay-blocks for your tent or camp. 2 EUR per block.
4) Emergency Ambulance is 24/7 on the event grounds. If you have a problem, contact them. In emergencies, call "SANI" (Short for Sanitäter, german for Ambulance. This is an Out of Game Call that makes everything stop and anybody will get aid for you).
GREAT IMPORTANCE: Your Siege Weapons:
We will NOT allow following things:
Weapons that fire anything with black powder or other chemical means
Weapons that propell any given thing through a tube
Weapons that fire ammonition with a hard core inside to make them more stable/heavy (like catapults that shoot softballs with lead-core).
This does not come from us, this is ruled out by the german weapons and "lookalike weapons" law.
Nice to know things:
1) For the early arrivers, the day before the event start (Tuesday), in the evening there is a "Pre-Event Party" at no extra cost. 3 Bands will play starting from 20.00 in the evening on the Bards Stages in the great Tent City.
2) We have a supermarket on the camp grounds. If you lack things - everything has the same prices like in the next town supermarket (in fact, we get catered by them).
3) If you stop by in Hannover City during your travel to the event, there is a Burger King. We got a little incentive from them, if you print it out, there is a Menu Rebate Voucher in the Fact Sheet that you can show.
Thats it for now, more to come eventually.
