Yeah, it was great indeed!! Thank you, Bruder Johannes, and to the others of your group, for the friendly welcome, the playing and, of course, your overwhelmingly, outstandingly delicious beer. It was one of the best I've ever drank, and I had a lot of diffent sorts in my live yet! From my point of view it didn't contain too much hops neither; due to the great malt, it was just fine. Lookin' forward to seeing you in 2012.

Hello folks! As it has been a great success in the last years, the beer-tasting in the abbey "Zur geschwollenen Leber" will take place again this Conquest of Mythodea. Bring beer from your own country/town and try some of the friars' self-brewed beer. Spread the word! Looking forward to all of you |

Some Questions: a) Are you located in the city again? b) Is it an "official" meeting or can I just bring my beers and we taste together? c) What's the best time to come around? I am Nsc, so I it would be later in the evening. d) I live in a very famous region for whine, Rheingau, so I could also bring some fine whines. And some Met from my brother - would be ok, or just the beers ?

Hi Cogliostro! Of course it´s ok to bring whine or Met.We will taste it all . And yes, we are located in the city again. It isn´t an official meeting, come to us whenever you want

Trying out foreign beers is fun, I once kept a collection of exotic bottles at home, stopped that though, got too much  I ordered most of mine though. Not through meet ups :/

Sometimes I really have to think about if I want to keep an exotic beer oder rather drink it immediately. The best is to have two bottles: drink one, safe one in the shelf. |
