good idea, especially for people from countries with not-so-common-languages (like the ones from netherlands - gosh, most of the ones i met last year couldnt speak any other language than their own... Maybe help them also...)

Nearly everyone on conquest speaks english, too, so you won't get any problems with your mother tonque, but every try in german is nice, so go ahead.

From the Orga Perspective, some Sentences/Words that stop the Game immediately around you.


"STOP" (in Engl: "Stop", just to bring the Game to a Halt in case of an Emergency (someone drops down unconscious or is bleeding) or something is not right, e.g you dropped your glasses or lost a contact lens)

"Sani" or "Sanitäter" (Paramedic, spoken "Sani-tae-ter), to be used together with "Hilfe" (Help). This is to be used if you (not your character) are really hurt and need urgent medical help. This is not to be confused with the German "Heiler", which is the used during the Game to call for an Ingame-Healer for your character.

"Hilfe, Feuer, Es Brennt, Feuerwehr! Spielleiter!" - in case you see something on fire and this is not a special effect...like a burning tent or car, parts of the forrest and there is no Gamemaster or someone else from the Organisators Team next to it, yell this repeatedly as loud as you can until Help is coming. Thats german, meaning "Help, something is in flames, firefighters! Gamemaster!". For the last one, you have to add that "Firefighters/Gamemaster" so that everybody realizes that this is not part of the Game and meant definitly Out of Play.

but don't be worried in a case of emergancy. if u don't know the german word, just stick to english. most people can speak english (at least the basics like "fire").
but it's good to know those words in german so in case you hear them you know what is happening.

To scream for medical Help I would prefer "MEDIC!" because it is not used in the common medieval language, isn't it?
