Are there showers/bathing facilities at the game?

For people who have complicated costumes involving wigs, prosthetics and makeup, how do you manage the transition from sleeping to getting made up again in the morning? Slink through camp in a hooded robe? Do it all in the privacy of your own tent?

Super. That's very helpful and sounds similar to how things work in the weekend games here.

I don't think I'm doing makeup, but do think I'll be using a wig of some sort and obviously won't want to sleep in that.

The prosthetic ears I have are pretty flash and are pretty easy to put on and I've worn them all weekend without needing to take them off. 5 days may be a stretch tho!

I usually showered around 7 in the morning, at that time there's not much in the way of queues for showers, toilets and so on.

Last year my character was wearing a hooded robe, so I generally threw that on, but didn't bother with jewelry, weapons and those things for going to the showers.
Often in the morning (8-9 ish), when most people were moving to and from the shower area the Black Ice would send out small squads to harass bypassers. Some people stayed in character and ran for their life, while others simply claimed to be out of character, not bothering with the BI attackers.
So the biggest trick is actually to make it back to camp before the Black Ice shows up with their daily wake up attack, and morning harassment.

I should really find out what this "Black Ice" is, eh?

About the shower: I'm just a NPC, but if you are a girl and a NPC you can go to the shower whenever you want. Normally there is a shower available

I don't know the situation in other camps.

Still, nice to read that there is someone not yet corrupted by the mean and biased media employed by the invaders to justify their conquests. Please feel free to get information firsthand and inquire at your nearest black ice representative.

But rest assured, no unit of npc will be sent against the shower containers, and even though a wet towel is among the most dangerous weapons known to man you are not expected to engage in battle while waiting for some hot water. On the other hand, it is expected of you not to stay and watch a developing crisis just because you feel ooc on your way to the showers, so just avoid any game situations.

What's this about Black Ice assimilating Expeditionaries? That simply will not do!
