Hi,
when you guys with your strange equipment checked in I believed you took the CoM for some costume party to celebrate a tenth birthday... But then you started to play that loud, always funny, totally over the top fire-gnomes that were just ... different.
Erik_Reikeson you are only right, if you look from a reenactment perspective. These gnomes were in no way better or worse than a kender or kobold, just different. You do not have to like them, but if you have seen them play for some time, you will have to respect them.
Your group was unique in its way and fits in a fantastic background, but you could make your life a lot easier, if you toned down on the colours.
I especially liked these examples:
- I looked at your preparations for brewing some potions and at all the stuff you used. Many other other people just spend the time talking or hiding.
- When you stood watch at the gate you talked to each an every one, who entered the camp and made them laugh or curse you. When the enemy attacked you dropped everything, and ran away screaming for help. Damned effective, half the camp came to defend the gates.
- In a battle I saw to of you guys carrying a giant mushroom, then running at the battle row an throwing it at a leader of the Black Ice, while screaming all the time (perfect hit by the way). You were gone so fast, that you didn't see the ten people or so standing confused, watching the mushroom, not fighting any longer. They recovered when I announced "Ein Schadenspunkt".
- Your facial expressions were sometimes absolutely inhumane frozen in one position, some maniac grinning, that freaked me out.
- Of course the fire show and dancing on Friday... "Dance with the mushroom!" People asked via radio what was burning in the firecamp and whether the fire fighters should come.
I liked your group better than yet-another-elf-fighter-gang or yet-another-celtic-warrior-band. In Larp strange things should happen and you managed to do something that I have never seen before.
Greetings,
Tom (SL in the fire camp)
P.S.:
Liebe Schattenwölfe, tut mir leid Euren Thread noch mehr entführt zu haben.
