Dear Wasserlager,

The Atlanteans will be constructing a throne for our divine and glorious Avatar. Last year the Avatar didn't have a place to rest untill the last day of the 'con' and we would like to have a fully rested Avatar in our camp .

The only thing we don't have is a tent to be placed over the thrones for protection against the sun. Could another group organise the tent, so the Avatar doesn't burn?

Well, sorry, but the throne depicted does not look very comfortable.

At least, the backrest should be inclined.

And as for the sun, there is no need of a tent. A blanket shoud be enough.

now I am new around here and my group will not arive untill next CoM but even we know that it should be more... well, just more

i agree with Ryahel on this one. At least make it a nice tarp with proper poles to hold it up.

Tarp, blanket, cover, cloth, call it as you wish.
And it should be established solid and fine looking, of course.
I would prefer a blue colour also.

Besides, the avatar surely has a tent to rest in, but here it is about the throne (and maybe some decoration) only, I supposed?

By the way, what has happened with the throne which I saw in 2010?
Was that personal property of the "old" avatar?

The podest as well as the pavillon was private property of the guy/leader of the "Anhänger der Untoten Ente" (2 large Ritter-tents across SL on main street). As the podest is his trailer - without wheels - we might be able to beg for that one again this year
Not sure about the pavillon (he has 2 of those, but had no place to setup the 2nd last year), but will try to reach him unless he sees this here himself.

It was reintegrated into the gatehouse where the main parts of it where taken from since we haven't had a gatehouse at 2010.
