Mein Sohn (15J.) (ebenso absoluter Larpanfänger wie ich!) hätte wohl Interesse am Botenjob.

Es wurde dazu geschrieben, das es besonders für Anfänger gut ist, da man Würdenträger kennenlernt und dicht am Plot ist!

Aber das kann ich mir gar nicht so recht vorstellen! :?

Ist es nicht grad für Anfänger extrem schwer den Empfänger der Botschaft überhaupt zu finden?
Zu wissen wo hin und wie ansprechen etc.?

Zu erkennen, wem man besser aus dem Weg geht und wem ggf. die Botschaft keinesfalls in die Hände fallen darf?

Nun in der Realität mit Kilometerweiten Reisen vielleicht, auf dem Conquest eigentlich nicht. Wir bespielen ein Gebiet welches man zu Fuß (wenn man lahmt ) innerhalb von 60 Minuten durchquert hat. Zudem gibt es Markante Punkte wie die Lager an dem man sich orientieren kann. D.h. wenn ich den Auftrag formuliere: Bring bitte Botschaft X hier in das Lager der Erde dann ist der Ort eindeutig klar. Kombiniert mit der entsprechenden Person eigentlich nicht zu verfehlen. Natürlich muss man dann vor Ort fragen wo die Person sich gerade aufhält und dran bleiben bis die Botschaft abgeliefert ist.

Ein Kennenlernen der Würdenträger der verschiedenen Ebenen ist dadurch halt gesichert je nachdem wer die Botschaft absendet. Sicherlich wird wenn Hans Knarf eine Botschaft an Siobhan absendet diese maximal bei der Stimme des Westens landen, anders als wenn Beispielsweise Zerahl etwas an Kashalee überbringen lässt und der Bote direkt vorgelassen wird. Aber das ist dann ja auch das Prickeln des Spiels.

Arve, Dein Einwand ist soweit berechtigt.

Allerdings lassen sich die beiden genannten Frauennamen in den allgemeinen Informationen finden, wenn man sich die Nyamen und die Beschreibungen dazu anschaut.

Die Infos, die man offiziell auf der Homepage nachlesen kann, stehen ja nicht umsonst da.
Und je nach Charakter sollte auch ein (IT-) Neuling, der sich aber bereits ein paar Wochen auf dem Kontinent befindet, die wichtigsten Namen durchaus schon gehört haben.

Hum.

Ich habe ein anderes Verständnis von der Aufgabe eines Boten. Von wem die Nachricht kommt geht nur dem Empfänger etwas an. Ob eine Nachricht wichtig ist oder nicht darf nur der Empfänger entscheiden, den die Wache die entscheidet ist ein ganz klassischer Versagenspunkt.

"Ich bin Bote, komme aus dem Magielager und habe eine Nachricht für die Nyame des Westens oder ihre Neches`Re"

Mehr brauchen Aussenstehende nicht zu wissen. Wenn man die Namen Siobhan und Faryanne verwendet ist das genau so gut, aber vielleicht gerät man an jemanden der gerade nicht weis wer gemeint ist.

Ob man sich von Leibwachen oder Stellvertretern abhalten lässt, ist dann Rollenspiel. Durchsetzungsfähige Boten sind aber in meinen Augen effektiver und wichtig das der Laden läuft.
